Wizz Air announced the appointment of new Chief Flight Operations Officer

On July 1, 2016, in Geneva, Wizz Air Holdings PLC ( ‘Wizz Air’) the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced that it appointed József Ujhelyi Chief Flight Operations Officer and a member of the management team of the company, the appointment being effective immediately.

Ujhelyi joined Wizz Air in 2004 as Head of Purchasing and Commercial Partners and over the past 12 years has supervised various commercial departments and organizations, and got the position Head of Airport Development in 2012. Before WIZZ, Ujhelyi, 49, has developed a rich trade and management experience in Malév Hungarian Airlines and Procter & Gamble. József has a degree in Traffic and Transportation Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
