Cessna Aircraft becomes exclusive partner of single-engined trainers for Pan Am Flight Academy

Cessna Aircraft became an exclusive partner of new and non-complex single-engined trainers for Pan Am International Flight Academy. The both companies signed long-term contract for deliveries of piston-single Skyhawk 172, Skylane 182, Turbo Stationair HD and TTx trainers, as well as service maintenance, spare parts and training. The memorandum of understanding for the further order was signed in and of August at the Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium in Singapore, but not disclosure the financial terms, volume and duration of the agreement. The contract was appreciated by both companies, deepening their relations and partnership.

“We are thrilled to work with Pan Am International Flight Academy, an industry leader in training support”, said the vice president of Piston Aircraft, Doug May. “This new relationship with Pan Am will ensure student pilots have access to the world’s leading training aircraft, the Cessna Skyhawk”, added he.

Pan Am International Flight Academy is one of best known training organizations capable of supporting all airline requirements through industry-leading flight training. The company provides flight simulation and training on nearly all major aircraft types with more than 200 professional training programs and experienced instructors.

Cessna Aircraft Company is an American general aviation aircraft manufacturing corporation headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. Best known for small, piston-powered aircraft, Cessna also produces business jets. The company is a subsidiary of the US conglomerate Textron.
